Tic-Toc ripped off C-3PO? Err, Tic-Toc was around like 70+ years before C-3PO! These guys really did not get this movie. The Baum Oz books were a tad dark and this movie captured the essence of the book perfectly. These two dipsticks totally did not get this film. Return to Oz is frickin' fantastic!

So free, in fact, that I can rest easy in the knowledge that, instead of defending their own claims, people will continue to just scream and call people who disagree with them names. Then again, actually EXPLAINING a viewpoint would require effort, which is hard to get out of people these days. Grrrr...how DARE Siskel and Ebert have an opinion! I like this movie and I'm never wrong, so I refuse to accept that ANYONE can think differently! And if they think differently, why they are nothing but windbags and losers because I am the ultimate authority on films! Who cares if they have perfectly legitimate reasons for not liking it?! I'm shouting and calling them names and therefore right, though I'm not defending my own viewpoint at all! Grrrr, I hate critics so I'm gonna critique them!

Roger Ebert used to say "If nobody did anything stupid, we wouldn't have had much of a movie!" I'm very disappointed that two of my favorite critics did something so stupid here. I read all the Oz books when I was a kid and "Return to Oz" is an excellent adaptation. Someday I'll look back on this and regret the ten minutes I wasted watching this dumb movie review!
