Questions to those who doubt..Why have many gitmo prisoners been exonerated and repatriated back to their countrues after being falsely charged?? Some are guilty some are not. Do you think the president of Harvard law review, Professor of Constitutional law is dumber than you and know something you don't know?? The guilty ones will be charged and torture will continue to extract the truth but new interrogation practices will be put in force. I just don't understand what makes you guys so smart?

army and navy brigs for military Tribunals or Federal courts for Trial where necessary.

other wise a continuation of Guantanamo at every other Military Prison were the Judicial Branch basically has zero say in what happens.

Look up the Authorization of Use of Armed Forces Against Terrorist, there u will find ur defintion.

US citizens may also fall under Terrorist or affiliates. once designated "enemy combatant" u lose ur habeas corpus rights and due process. in other words, ur looking at indefinet detention.

was is legal AUMF authorized it.

@nembhard600rr All of those accolades are undeserved. Obama was a mediocre C student his whole life. He entered Harvard by way of affirmative action. Obama was chosen and elevated by liberal academia and press as "the ideal negro". Staged, artificial. Getting into Harvard, being appointed president of law review, winning nobel peace prize, being elected president--- all because he's black. Unqualified, undeserving of everything he has. I was in political science today and my teacher mentioned how all our phone calls, texts and internet searches are sent straight to the gov under "terrorist" suspicion and she joked about if she gave us a assignment about terrorist some of us might end up at guantanamo bay, they all laughed. That, pissed me off beyond belief, joking about injustice, torcher, molestation, being treated like an animal and deliberately for the sick pleasure of the guards.
