I think the stuff Keith did with Ralph was his best stuff: better than what he did in country later on. I also think this band ranks in the top echelon of bluegrass bands: equal with the JD Crow and Tony Rice configurations.

@md65000 Ok. Hold on there. We are not heros. Ok? And sometimes a lot of us get hooked on drugs or alcohol. At least Keith Whitley battled with it and tried. Take a look back through the history of any style of music. Drugs are involved with a lot of musicians. Most musician or writers may not drink or take drugs. But things happen and people shouldn't downgrade another for their lifestyle or habits.
