More Reasons NOT to Believe in God:

Reason #2: Arrogance

To quote douglas adams: Space... is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mindboggingly big it is...
-We, are just one species of many on this tiny planet.
-There are 9 planets, (give of take pluto) orbiting this average star we call the sun.
-there are over 200 billion stars in our average galaxy we call the milky way.
-traveling at 186,000 miles per second it would take 100,000 years to travel from one side of our galaxy to the other.
-There are hundreds of BILLIONS of galaxies in the universe.
-the Universe existed 9.1 billion years before earth was ever even formed.
-The earth existed for almost 1 billion years before primitive life even began to emerge
-microbes didn't even exist on land until 2.7 billion years ago.
-245 million years ago the earth was populated by giant dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts (Dinosaurs lived on earth for 180 million years, homosapiens have lived on Earth for less than 1 million years)
-over the course of 2.5 million years our primate species evolved from the genus: homo into the homosapiens we are now.
-for hundreds of thousands of years mankind told stories and developed folklore. only recently, within the past ten thousand years have we learned to sustain our culture through written language.

And to be certain, based on nothing but personal intuition, that in this TINY TINY TINY fragment of a blink in time, on this TINY TINY spec of dust we call home, and out of the billions and billions of religions and beliefs and denominations, that ONE, superstition and ONE group of people is not only the reason that the universe exists, but is chosen by the architect of everything for absolute metaphysical truth, is utterly, incommunicably arrogant.

ok really tho, why is there something instead of nothing? What allowed everything to be the way it is? Why colors and not something else? why the dimensional world? Everything exists for a reason, even chance and randomness is something. Believe what you want but don't incourage people not to believe in something.

@FCB09daBEST I will encourage people not to believe in things when there are no reasons to believe them. Especially if they lead to poor choices that effect others. I would be unreasonable and uncaring if I didn't.

There are answers to a lot of those questions by the way, even if they're not what you want to hear. Keep looking.

@FCB09daBEST You can't just say "everything exists for a reason". That's not a fact. That's an opinion. Until you can prove there is an inherent reasoning behind anything that happens in the universe, then everything that happens can be assumed to be a total accident.
