Me singing (cover) "Girls Not Grey" by AFI acapella

THIS IS A CREATIVE INTERPRETATION OF THE SONG, AND I CHECKED THE LYRICS AND THEY ARE NOT WRONG (even if they were, it happens, I aint perfect!). (7/16/11)

Well, one of my favorite songs actually. Has such a pretty melody it needed no backing track I felt. :) One of the best songs of the decade and I just wanted to do my part to pay homage to it. :P ENJOY!!!

@Nevergounder337 I understand where you're coming from, it seems like an unusual choice. :p But... Music is open to interpretation, and that's what I like to do, reinterpret music. :)  Anyway, I am pretty sure I got the lyrics right, but then again, I did it from memory not reading off a lyrics sheet (though I triple checked them before I sang it), so I might've gotten something wrong, I'm only human. :)

Pretty good job... but AFI isnt really meant to be interpreted into pretty acapella hun. Also your lyrics arent exactly correct but who cares about that >_>

Also it just sounds weird going from Davey's voice, you know.. speedier and manlish, then You hear it acapella and really slow it just messes up the whole thing. =/

Not bad and you can sing it this way as long as you don't add too much stuff and irregularities and pauses and font change half the notes.

That's fine, but you should know it was also said in a very antagonistic tone. :)  I get attacked by a lot of people and they usually say things like that, so I try to respond in a careful way so that I can clearly be understand, and if they are reasonable, as you seem to be, it will show with they're reply. :) So thanks!

People like you crack me up! I can't stand it when people assume that just because I believe in God and Jesus that I can't appreciate good art when I see it, or like I can't be friends with an atheist. I'll have you know, most of my friends are not Christians and most of the music I like isn't either, though I do like some that is fiath-based, I find a lot of it boring. :) And yes, I did know he was an atheist, don't assume stupidity and Christianity are synonymous. :)
