Newt's Highlights from South Carolina CNN Debate

Newt received two standing ovations from the audience in the South Carolina CNN debate, just three days after receiving one at the FOX News/WSJ debate.

Ovation 1: No, but I will. I think the destructive, vicious, negative nature of much of the news media makes it harder to govern this country, harder to attract decent people to run for public office, and I am appalled that you would begin a presidential debate on a topic like that.

Ovation 2: I'm tired of the elite media protecting Barack Obama by attacking Republicans.

She said when Gingrich admitted to a six-year affair with a Congressional aide, he asked her if she would share him with the other woman, Callista, who is now married to Gingrich.
