Wow, that could be my MIL (except this "MIL" is too pretty and young, lolol). When hubby and I first got married, MIL pulled the same crap with hubby's exgirlfriends. Of course, MIL didn't "mean anything by it".

@IhatemyMIL 6 years of dealing with my MIL and I just said no more. She would do mean things to me that made her look good. I have a hard time explaing that. For example, she would use buying a gift for her grandchild to ruin surprises for me.

MIL's much actually watch this shit ! My mother in law threw me a babyshower when my husband was deployed and I was 7 months pregnant. I drove three states to get there, and she sat me down and showed me pictures of my husband and his ex girlfriend (which she secretly invited to the babyshower she threw for me). Ughhhhhhhhh

My MIL did the same thing - always talking about my husband's ex girlfriends. Now I can laugh about it as I am the mother of her 2 grandchildren and have total control (LOL) and now she doesn't talk about that anymore, but at the time it was really devistating!!!
