Quick question. The first bass fill, it sounds like on the recording he plays G D C# G. It seems like you play that too, but you have it transcribed on your site as G C# D G. Which one do you think is right? It struck me as pretty obvious at first, but after seeing what you wrote I slowed it down and its still that order for my ears anyway.

Also, why do you play the C# up on the E string? Isn't it easier to play it on the A string down low so you are closer to the low G? Im a bass noob, so idk.

@jbowers56 Hey J, I went for the low Csharp on the E str cause it's closer to the high G on the G str. Then you've still got an open str 16th to give you time to jump down to the low G.... A lot of upright players use the open strings like that as breathing space to shift positions, so that's what i'm going for here.... I'll look into that fill transcription too cheers, J
