@drakerr87 la maggiorparte dei partigiani era gente comune che nn ne voleva + sapere di fascismo e nazismo e che voleva esser protagonista del proprio futuro senza + che pochi altri che decidessero per tutti.Ma al di là di ciò pochi eran politicizzati ,e come avrebbero potuto esserlo se per 20anni c'era stato 1 pensiero unico e chi non era d'accordo veniva zittito o eliminato, comunisti compresi. E i partigiani i nazifa non son riusciti ad annientarli neanche dopo il piano alexander. @littleduncan1982 As for me, I would have done what was necessary to survive during a war, especially if I knew their was a standing order to shoot to kill members of the RSI during and after the war. I have been in war and its not fun. We both have different oppinions and I respect you and your opinion because you showed the ability to speak as a normal person rather than call me bad names because of what I wrote. In the end we might never see eye to eye but at least we can be human.

@littleduncan1982 In conclusion I feel that my father-in-law and all those I've talked to would not lie or make up stories. I have a good appreciation of the RSI veteran. I've realized the partigian masked themselves after the war, leaving the country in order to avoid prosecution. Only to come back back after a few years and as I mentioned and join the government. Their are many books written about this subject, some whos authors are from the left.

@littleduncan1982 The partigiani who commited atrocities got away with murder, became misinsters or worked in the Italian government and received or still receive a state pension. While the RSI veterans ended up spending time in jail or were killed after they laid down their arms or months after the war was over. In my opinion this is not fair. If Italian veterans are going to be hailed as heros and honored for their war effort than all should be honored, not just one side.

@littleduncan1982 In the end they have not been properly treated and respected as a part of Italian society because of the way they have been portrayed in all forms of media since the end of the war. On the other hand the partigiani have been hailed and victors and liberators of Italy and still receive all sorts of public support and positive opinion today. In my opinion, this is not fair. I've countless stories of atrocities commited by partigiani against the RSI during and after the war.
