Big deal,my mate wanted me to see this.I gave him some advise, If you Wanna rev it you CHEV it. Even the police admid it that the xr8 is a taxi with a v8..but not any more they broke down too often.turbo Xr is ok thou

@pugpoo mine has never broken down, 7 years of driving hard!! owned a VT 350 chev, broke 2 engine mounts, piston slap, sump knock, weeled it back to the dealer after 2 1/2 years puffing like a steam train and traded it, worst car and engine i have ever owned! CHEV - i rev'd it and it broke - hahahah

@beammark hi mate, its a ford falcon made in Australia, look at ford aus web site. 5.4 ltr boss v8. has 5.4 ltr truck bottom end and 4.6 cobraR heads. 32 valve quad cam. goes nice. mine is a 2003 model 260kw from factory

Sick vid. Can anyone tell me if the 290kw is a supercharged version of the 260kw or simply a more worked engine?

the 290 is just a slighlty different setup, not supercharged just better engine internals.
