I am a Christian Lebanese American that would like to help start a foundation that can financialy support Christians from the 66 villages in the Chouf region that were displaced by the civil war. American jews have a simillar program where they raise funds through all kinds of contributions to help Jews in Israel buy build and retain properties for future generations. lets talk George

Video does not say why christians were displaced. I was member of Israeli Druze commandos in chouf mountains in 1982. Christian militia deployed fighters from Beirut to chrisitian villages under cover of our forces. They started the war after we withdrew from Lebanon killing thousands of Druze, but they lost. Christians in Deir Kamar were saved because of tradition of respect amongst Druze to christian ex-president Mr Chamoun of this village.The Druze never broke this tradition even in the war.
