This is Fauré's most popular song, and one of his earliest (Op. 7, No. 1, 1865). Romain Bussine's text is a French adaptation of an anonymous Italian poem "Levati sol que luna è levata".

After a dream

In a sleep which your image charmed
I dreamed of happiness, ardent mirage;

Google it, it is available online at IMSLP website. As I mentioned on my description, it is Op7, No.1. At IMSLP, it is listed under the name "3 Songs, Op.7".

I love this song! She does such a beautiful job with it. I'm preparing this for a recital (although it's a whole step higher), and this recording with the sheet music was SO helpful in learning the diction along with the notes! :D
