Did I hear wrongly, or are your sensors dragging on the tabletop?

Indeed you did not and they are. While, when the idea came to me, it presented itself in a form with two IR lasers (or narrow-beam emitters) and sensors correspondingly foremounted, the kit does not have two such components. Thus, in a moment of improvisation, I decided to have the idea run off of depressed touch sensors, of which there were two, as seen, responding to the button release and maintaining directionality of sensation.

I have to build a bot similar to yours for an assignment.. Any chance you can tell me how you programmed it?

You should move the sensor in the front more far away from bot, Then you can make it turn AND drive. Insted of stopping! :D
