Maybe some people are confused. James jamerson played the bass line on i was made to love her. Hank cosby, who co-wrote and produced it, signed an affidavit attesting to the fact. I dunno where michael henderson comes in, maybe he did this fukin awesome version, but just to be clear-the og bassline was by the legendary james jamerson

Nice playing.
It starts to get REALLY funky around 0:36.
But what's M.Henderson got to do with it?

Thanks - this vid copies a few of MH's licks from his original playing on Stevie Wonder's "Live at the Talk of the Town" album (UK, 1970) - he was (and still is) awesome!!

This owns man, nice work. Ever listen to John Kahn jam on this song with Jerry Garcia and Merl Saunders? I really like this song for a jam band cover but I don't hear it played enough.
