This is a video I filmed a few years back when we attempted to heat up chestnuts to eat. You are supposed to slice a cross through the chestnuts before you put them in the oven, so they don't explode, but we didn't know this at the time. Unfortunately they rejected this on You've Been Framed, which is more annoying when you see the amount of unfunny set-ups there are on there!
That is bad, and dangerous, silly people, take a knife and slice across it before you roast them. It's like a microwave egg in the shell, all that steam under pressure well release. How many of them exploded?

haha the same thing happen to my dad when he tried roasting chestnuts, you have to make a cut into them
