  • Beethoven was completely deaf when he wrote this. I hope he can hear this in heaven.

  • I thought the stoic deadpan look was irony. Made me smile.

  • @giovanasamara

Beethoven was hearing impaired and the wrote that master piece, they are just too dumb to appreciate the great music

  • This shii is high.

  • I know this was not the best arrangement but it's the Ode to Joy. How bad can it get?

  • Hey guys!!! This is a hymn now... that's why they look so solemn and rigid...

  • He obviously meant to showcase those two sopranos at the beginning but they SUCKED.....BADLY!!!!!!!!!! RIEU failed on this one!

  • @OFortuna3 You mean there is music to this video?

  • @MegaClassiclover The Nordbahn, Austria's first steam railway company, was built between Floridsdorf and Deutsch Wagram in 1837. However, the first public railway in England opened in 1802. Other countries had them in the early 19th century as well. The critic I spoke of didn't say that the Ode to Joy sounded like an AUSTRIAN train. You think no foreigners were in Vienna in 1824, or that many Austrians didn't travel or know what a train was or sounded like?

  • @lichtbroeder I wonder if there were any trains in Austria in 1824
