I drove by cave creek rd and hatcher at 6 am saturday morning only 6 day workers standing around hoping to get work .....3 years ago 100 to120 standing at that street corner ..yes crime is down and so is the number of illegals that drain our system of money meant for the legal students ,they drain the welfare and hospitals and overpopulate our jails at the cost of 33 to 45,000dollars per person per year ... shame on channel 5 for such a one sided story !!!

These statistics are misleading. The percentages are down because the population is increasing faster than the crime rate. Show actual numbers, and you'll see there are more crimes now. I lived in N. Scottsdale, carried pepper gas--and nearly had to use it a few times. The last straw was 2 carloads of Mexicans hassling me and my elderly mom as we took a walk. I chased them off by palming the spray, pretending it was a gun. We left AZ & I miss it, but there's only so much you can take.

Bravo to KPHO for reporting this. These kinds of tactics are being used by Republicans across the country to try to sway the public to unnecessary and inappropriate tactics politically in all areas. We need more truth journalism to get the facts out to the public.

Terry Goddard has actually made a difference against the cartels that control human and drug smuggling. He understands that Arizona needs to focus on other important issues for our state such as JOBS and education etc. Brewer does not see the big picture for our State.
