Now one would ask that the plants are also living being....then why to kill them and fill the stomach....

Plants are considered to be creatures with 1 sense where as animals have 5 senses.........and as explained in all religions you do less sins when U kill creature with 1 sense that dat of 5 sense..........

And the best explanation of sayings humans as a vegetarien I found is that in animals all creatures on earth crust those are veg[eat grass] gives birth to single child at a time..... whereas non veg ones give birth to more than one child....

Eg-> Cow Horse, Deers, Wilder Beasts are veg and give birth to one child

Dog, Cat, Lion etc are non veg and give more that 1 child at a time...

And as U know human gives 1 child at a time

Also, there is not much of an alternative to meat products,,, u can not wholly replace meat with veges all over,,,, countless ppl depend on these businesses and livestock is a required part of our daily food consumption... may be our body might get accustomed to veges if we try for long enough, but considering economic and social issues,,, ur plan is simply just not realistic.

There are official stats which clearly states that around 50% of the crop production in USA is used to feed the animals for the meat... They are over fed so that they gain more weight...

Huge amount of money is wasted for transportation of food for animals intself

Talking economically, if people go veg, the veg food demand will automatically increase.. as a result more opportunities will be in veg food sector. ppl will shift in veg industry..

I agree with the fact that KFC is disgustingly inhumane, but I will never support PETA. PETA is an extremist organization that cares more about animals than human beings, and they have a 99% kill rate on the animals they collect for adoptions. They waste millions of dollars on superbowl commercials that never air - money that could have been used to help abused animals. Instead, let's support the ASPCA and the Humane Society, because they don't hire bombers to attack cancer research facilities.
