This is my first tutorial of many to come. In this tutorial, I explain how to cover a solid winged model with MonoKote. The materials needed are:

Iron (Specificly For MonoKote)
Exacto Knife
A Solid Wing Model (Obviously)
MonoKote or UltraKote

  • either you are a caveman, or you have the dullest xacto blade in history, sorry son you should not be making instructional vids , go back and have fun with the U-control planes though!!

  • not a bad video dude. wish there was a little more "tips and tricks" to it but hell if i knew what i was doing i wouldn't be searching for "how to apply monokote" lol

  • I never thought i`d live to see the day when the 11 blade scalpel would seem inadequate.

  • you did well. got some jealous critical people making negative

  • wrong, wingtips can be perfect

  • i got a few dull blades too. lol

  • I think u need a new blade

  • Do you always do the underside of the wing first? I'm a 42 year old rookie.

  • use a heat gun and stretch the material around the wing tips. It will be wrinkle free..
