  • There is no doubt that Duran fought a great fight.

The referee should be ashamed of himself for not stopping the fight earlier, and why did Moore's corner continue to send him out round after round just to get beaten up more? Moore was a potential superstar before the fight, but was never the same fighter again afterwards. He could easily have been killed in the ring that night,

  • Davey Moore had his career shortened by this massive beating!!!!!!

  • @TheGREATEST95 This was where Moore needed one of his cornermen to grow some balls and pull him out like Eddie Futch did with Joe Frazier in Manilla. His eye was closed and he couldn't even see the punches coming. Moore later said himself that he should have stayed in his corner after the third round. The ref never even called the doctor in to look at Moore's eye. I hope the ref's licence was taken away after this, becuase he was completle incompetent.

  • The arena was madness. It was so loud

  • @johnnyboy18603 i understand what you are saying but its the hurt business and this is what happens, you dont come into it if you cant take beating. and i think boxing has become so boring now because of rules, and the ref stops the fight too early theese days and it has become into a sport for fragile men and a gentle sport and thats why it has lost so much popularity of the years, because we never get a fight.

  • should have stopped the fight after the 7th round

  • @InternationalBoy Thomas Hearns isn't even in Bert Sugar's top 20 and he is a boxing historian. How can Hearns be in your top 20? Hearns is a legend but not my type of fighter.

  • @jason60152 thats because he beat the shit out of everybody in his divison. Check out his KO record and KO percentage. and just cause he lost to those 3 doesnt mean he was a bad fighter. He fought Hearns Passed his prime, He peaked against Leonard and beat him in his prime. Was the first person out of the 4 to fight Hagler and Box him for 15 rounds and survived. Hearns couldnt do it. He got crushed in 3. Also Hearns got crushed By Iran Barkly whom Duran Defeated. Not in your top 20? Your crazy.

  • @youz1uglybish If he beat Pacman Floyd Mayweather should be in everybodys top 10.

  • @jason60152 floyd mayweather imo is top 15 i think he can lock up a spot easily after he beats pacquiao and possibly sergio martinez! its just a matter of floyd making the fights happen i think he can beat pacquiao and martinez even at 160lbs...lol martinez is a bit over rated i have no idea how he got so high up on the p4p list simply by beating paul williams..martinez is blatantly ducking the entire 168lb division its dis-graceful at this point dude needs to grow a pair and fight guys his size

  • @RihannasBikeSeat i can't fault you at all for picking arguello..i think his size played a big factor in his dominance at 130lbs the guy was fking huge i have no idea how he managed to make 130lbs for as long as he did! but with all that said i think julio cesar chavez was the better fighter this is a guy who never even came close to loosing a fight in his prime with an abundance of the intangible qualitys you just cant teach!! chavez and arguello would be a dream match though!

  • @jason60152 i absolutley woudn't put whitaker and pbf in the convo with duran you can't!!! im a huge fan of both whitaker and mayweather but duran is easily 1 of the top 10 best fighters to ever grace the sport! now to your next question you have to remember duran turned pro at 16...he didn't have the extensive amateur career as some one like a SRL or a thomas hearns these guys had about 160+ fights a piece before turning pro and thats the trend extensive amateur background short pro career!
