Doris Day recorded Swinging On A Star in 1964 with Jimmy Joyce and his childrens choir for their childrens album - With A Smile And A Song.
In many of Day's movies she was a mother - so these are photo's of some of the movie children she shared the screen with.

@nauort23 Both of those are from It Happened To Jane with Jack Lemmon. The boy that plays her son is Teddy Rooney - Mickey Rooney's son ! The little girl is Gina Gillespie. It's the movie she made just before Pillow Talk - wasn't a hit at all but I actually think its a fun movie.

@nauort23 Yep ... that was Jack ! Ha ha ... I've been a fan since I was 10 and I know in the 70's it wasn't too cool to be a Doris fan .... but I was and am !! She's had a great resurgance of late - Sony has recently released a new cd. Doris chose all the songs and I hear this is the first release of a few of the songs. She still receives as much fan mail as she did when she was still making movies ! So .. we are not alone in being Doris fans. Hang in there !! =)
