Rather than defending the Koran by cherry picking quotes from it and mocking non-believers, you should be damning the lunatics who carry out their lunacy in the name of your religion. You should be telling folks that you're ashamed of those who would use your holy book to deliver death and destruction. Instead you've decided that throwing out isolated quotes from your book is a better way to defend your believes than to condemn those responsible for your claimed misdiagnosis of your religion.

The problem is not whether Islam teaches any kind of extremism.The problem is that most violent extremism is done by believers and inarguably the majority of those are currently followers of Islam. So what Islam's holy book has to say about extremism is irrelevant to the idea of the violence perpetuated in the name of Islam; violence in which its perpetrators regularly refer to the Koran for support in carrying out their evil deeds. You offer a line from a holy book as your proof. I offer 9/11.

Well what happens to children when they decide not to be a part of your religion? LOL THEY ARE KILLED! What happens to prostitutes and adulters? LOL THEY GET STONED. Extreme is a relative term just like nearly everything esle. Extreme to them might have meant not failing the Sabbath because it is holy. However killing your son for leaving the religion would not be viewed as extreme. Keep an open mind when hearing claims. Gotta think about it... but im sure you all do that
