I love the jazz guitar for 25 years now and I can tell Wes Montgomery from Grant Greene. And still I've never heard from Emily Remler since yesterday. I can only guess how much talent, hard work and courage it takes to get as good a guitarist as she was. Whatever it took, in Emily Remler's case it obviously wasn't quite enough to gain her the recognition she deserved. I've never been aware of the jazz business being particularly macho...haha, silly bambi me, now I know better.

I only wish I could sound half this good "struggling" through such a cool tune. I like where Emily throws in "The Bumble Bee" at about 2:20. Makes me smile when she's just sitting there while the bass player takes a solo, very sweet.
