Each of these walking machines were built from scratch, with junk, by a team of 8-12, in under 48 hours.

Each year since 2002 a group of intrepid inventors has gathered in Vancouver to breathe new life into old junk and compete in a Junkyard War.

Under their wizardry, junkyard scrap has been animated to walk, hurl frisbees, and flip pancakes.

  • Its interesting. Even limiting themselves to junk, it looks like they have a decent budget, with a shop, tools, and experts for advice. I could do a lot with those resources, I have none

  • I really like the machines but can't really tell much about them because the editing on this video is really poor .

  • @jlf198404 haha
