Just a quick drive in this 05 Toyota Sequoia Limited. 1st a quick 0-75 and a 20-60 kickdown.

The ride is very choppy, the Live Rear axle excessivly hops causing the rear to drift aside. The 4.7 V8 is OK and sounds great but it's just too little engine for this Gorilla. IT's pulls hard off the ine but once you hit 30MPH and Beyond, it's all downhill from there. The engine just becomes strained. The 5 Speed auto helped out but the engines just too weak.

I really hate the steering. It is just so loose on the Highway. Difficult to keep in a straight line and it just drives all over the place. I thought it was a windy day but there wasn't any. I also hated how excessively you need to turn the wheel in order to make the vehicle go either direction, it's like the steering of a School Bus.

The Seats are OK but a bit Narrow. The Interior Plastics are hard and Shiny clearly demonstating that it's of very low quality. I heard lots of Creeks during this drive. The Dashboard seemed tiny for a vehicle this size.

If theres anything positive I can say about this 2005 Sequoia, it would have to the 5 Speed auto performed well and thats it.

  • wow thats got some major pickup, sounds like the 06 frontier that i saw in ur other vid

  • @astroberk17

Its really not that tough & the engine felt kinda weak for such a heavy vehicle. That nice pickup u saw is just the benefits of having a 5 speed auto & the engine did have a nice grunt sound.

  • @yellowcow13 Or I could just own two Toyotas then tell you all day long about how reliable they are. 1 word for, Extremely.

  • @Motorfordtoyota All i can say is subscribe to intech300 and that mkm guy and they will show you some toyota screwed together ness.

  • @yellowcow13 Now thats a complete lie. The Ford's interior was and still is one of the worst in the class. Yeah the Toyota uses hard touch materials but its well screwed together, it desnt come apart.

  • @Motorfordtoyota Now having been in both SUVs i can say the Sequoia is bouncy and has little low end power. The Expedition feels nimble and the ride is almost europien in the way its lush but firm. Also the Fords interior feels very nice compared to some of the parts in the Toyota.

  • @yellowcow13 Except hes just being biased. Ive been in both. Our Sequoia is extremely planted with a smooth ride. The power (even with the older 4 speed) is very good. Infact, I bet the 4.7 4 speed in the Sequoia would beat a 5.4 Expedition. Either way, you get a much more reliable product from Toyota.

  • @etoyotarockshsucks

I'll do both as I havent done either

  • @Intechdude300 Can you do a review of a 2008 sequoia? Its so much better.

  • @Intechdude300 Thanks thats intresting.
