Just dicking around after a very long 3 weeks. Got this guitar and I love it. Love The Mars Volta as well. I chose this over the option of pimping a strat, and so far I don't regret it.

  • I want to hear this thing pushed straight through a vintage tube amp and see what dirt I could get out of it. I'd love to hear some lo-fi garage mojo coming out of it.

  • @trentger1 haha if you got one, go for it! You wont find vintage gear around here though. Its all Blackstar, Ibanez, Carvin and Dunlop as far as the eye can see.

  • @RussianCivilian ты Русский чтоль?

  • @DOitHAAAARD niet. Leituvos.

  • how is this baby on some punk rock?

  • @LilReaper608 im sure it'd do fine since punk isnt terribly demanding as far as tonal diversity goes. This guitar is mainly for highly processed FXs, the mini humbucker assures that those FXs dont get lost in the loop or fuzzy.

  • How come your wearing sunglasses indoors, while doing a video about the performance of your guitar?

  • Not bad at all, stick with Mars Volta and you'll stay a happy fellow :)

  • sounds real good,

  • @RussianCivilian exactly. it's spanish.Ibáñez. in spanish it's not "eye", and actually not "z". correct pronunciation is i-bahn-ieth. But, as always, foreign words, brands etc. are changed in english because no one can pronounce them right. And btw, owning a ferrari doesn't necessarily mean you know how to drive it.

  • @maldororfiend dude you're wrong. Its pronounced exactly as I say it. Originally called Ibanez (eye-bahn-yez) a spanish guitar maker in the late 1800's. Their factory burnt down during the Spanish civil war. A japanese company bought it. Now it is what it is today. I endorse Ibanez, I think i would know how to pronounce their name properly....

  • I bought this guitar a couple years ago same setup, the DiMarzio Strap, and it sounds so freaking amazing!!!!
