  • I find it amusing people think so lowly of this- not just atheist and scientists, normal everyday agnostic sort of people.

When they accept quite happily that others believe in heaven and hell- double standards for beliefs as weird as each other?

  • Good for you. Being skeptical does not mean a closed mind.

  • @pixnote I have researched into the afterlife a lot and now find it irrational NOT to believe in an afterlife.

  • If you look at the evidence for an afterlife it is very persuasive and rational - and there's lots of it. Things exist before Science can investigate; some things are beyond Science's ability to prove. Take a look at Dr Brian Weiss' work and Viriginia Uni with Drs Ian Stevenson and Jim Tucker, etc.

  • I'm a scientists and believe that there's a good chance reincanation is for real.

It's funny how people disparage anyone who suggests something might be true that is out of the bounds of current accepted science. Fools keep on forgetting just how amazing our existence is.

  • Interesting closing comment, Aspel - whatever was causing this young man distress has been fixed. You may want to argue that he was the actual reincarnation of the dead airman - or that he was 'possessed' by the spirit/ghost/memory of that unfortunate chap in some odd way - but the only thing of relevance to my mind is that this young man's less than healthy mental state was healed.

  • i have a feeling of being on a beach its gun shoots explosions all around me my sqad is under fire shooting at the bunkers im wounded i dont remeber my name our landing raft is broken whe cant pull bak

  • Who is this "expert" at the end who is casting doubt on Martin's story? I think it's remarkable that he was able to remember into adulthood. If you read about Ian Stevenson's research with children, you'll realize that it's very rare to 1) have past life memories w/o regression and 2) remember into adulthood. Boo & hiss to this expert who says more research needs to be done.

  • My Doctor took me back to Vicksburg in the Civil War Battle in 1863; I was a Confederate Soldier...bayonetted in the back....it is TRUE I dont care who believes it; or not!

  • Iwonder who I was in a previous life. A right **** I should imagine., and I am paying for it in this life.

  • You are welcome.

Most inhabitants on Earth have incarnated several times, some only once.

I agree that the certain knowledge concerning life after life and reincarnation does make life easier in these very uncertain times and dishonesty (Unfortunately) is just part and parcel of this marvellous cycle of growth and enlightenment.

Happiness always comes from within, no matter how much 'Truth' or knowledge is gained.

    Hope that helps.

  • Thank you very much.

May I assume that you have personally experienced memories from a previous life.

If so, you have no doubts about reincarnation, at least in your case. However, do all people reincarnate? How can one really convince the others that in fact reincarnation does exist in the world full of dishonest people just trying to get attention by making false claims. I think that would be important as people could live easier and happier knowing the truth.
