He even asked me what song I wanted him to play when he was on stage. I said "Ghost Movement". Right before they started playing it, he said "this is a song for the girl on the stairs". If that isn't a nice and awesome gesture, I don't know what is.

I met Dax a few years ago at the House of Blues Orlando when he opened for Queens of the Stone Age. He stood and talked to me for 15 minutes before the show. He was really personable, a pleasure to talk to, nice, funny and he gives great hugs! I thanked him for his music and words and for helping me get through my mother's death. I will never forget how sweet and angelic he was. Anyone that says he's a dick needs to meet the man before they judge him.
