Visiting My WWII Veteran Grandfather (longer version)

You will find some things about his story to be amazing! This is the longer version. Although this video was shot in HD, I had to convert down to 720 by 480 for this video. I will also be making a full HD documentary movie with a longer story sometime in the future. I had a wonderful time making this and I am thankful to have this story as a treasure for my future! He fought in WW2 and fought cancer until the end. He is 89 years old and would have been 90 in a few weeks.

i had 2 grandpas, 1 was in ww2 in the navy and my other grandpa was in veitnam as a soldier, none died in battle, they died of sickness later on, the one in the navy died about 10 years ago, the other one died several years ago

could you add subtitles to the HD version please? It might be cause I'm french Canadian but I find harder then the usual to understand. Or maybe your grandpa is really a beaten old man :-D

My Grandpa was in WW2 also, Egypt and Italy with the ANZACs
