@bwarrrrk , oh absolutely !, for most people steam on the met was a handy event to see a steam train run in london without having to go miles out and it was cheap too !

they obs havent seen the mainline rail tours that are steam hauled. they deffo packed on the tour, stations and any line side spots

@bwarrrrk LUL said it was in the practice of running a business not an enthusiast based event, as usually some thick management decided it wasn't a way to generate revenue for the company, Steam on the met was always very much a highly popular event, always packed,
