if i met an athiest/ agnostic/ or even just unsure and didnt care black chick, who was extremely down with the underground extreme metal scene i would just as soon, maybe even more quickly, fall in love with her as i would a white chick. to be honest, personally, im a white guy, and white girls are on the bottom of the atractive list to me. i like color more visually, just never have anything in common.

in my personal opinion as a white dude who happens to find black women atractive, their is something that holds us apart culturally, even if both sides happenned to be atracted to eachother. if i where to speak for just myself, it would almost never work out because ive never ran into a black chick that had any intrest at all in death metal/ goregrind/ black metal and horror film to the extremes that i do. never met one ever, and ontop of that, most keep a traditionally religious outlook.

I'm a White Guy and at least for me a Black Girl really doesn't have to do much to get my attention. If she dresses nice and smiles at me I certainly would be interested however I almost never do things without a few reasons. I think perhaps the next time you should open up a way for them to come to you. Like if you are on a project or in the same class open up a safe conversation for them and they can do the asking once they feel ready. BTW I approve your taste for anime! =)

You have to ask yourself why there are so many of those thugish guys. I think good portion of the women actually do want the thuggish guy and will consider the non thug to be weak or corny. That's why so many black guys want to portray that image. They wouldn't be doing it if wasn't working. My point is that it's not only the males in the AA community who have issues. There are just as many black men out there struggling to find a lady who doesn't expect him to act like a thug.

I agree. Well said. I also think it's a mistake to focus only on attracting specific races. You eliminate a lot of great people out there by doing that. The rules of attracting a good partner are universal anyway.

@raidio1 What's funny is that you blame Hollywood for portraying us as heroes, I blame Hollywood for how blacks are almost never portrayed as villains. The only time they are allowed to be portrayed in a negative light is in dramas. Any time you watch a commercial with a black the whites also end up looking up them because they impart some basic logic that seems to escape them. You'll also never see blacks portrayed as racist no matter what they say.

@raidio1 the reason black women are choosing white men is because there's a limited amount of quality black men. It's your fault you can't keep your women. They don't want to be with a thug who will end up in jail and then have to worry about taking care of some welfare babies. BTW, Hollywood almost never portrays black women/white men. However, they do portray a lot of white women/black men and these aren't the type of relationships I see in real life.
