  • Wow. That's not the sound I've come to associate with the Etherwave. Guess that's just more incentive for me to practice so I can start to sound as pretty as that. I have an Etherwave myself, but the sound is much more brassy than on this video.

  • I'm sorry.

    I have mistaken;;;;;;;;

I record this with Etherwave Pro.

    I

  • Is that a Burns B3? It certainly sounds like one. Of course maybe that's not the best way to determine the make of a theremin.

  • It's eartherwave theremin.

  • What happened to the other version of this video? Excellent playing, but this version doesnt seem as smooth and has less reverb. Can you post both versions?

  • No. I am not satisfied with a version of before. I taped it again. This is still unsatisfactory, too.

    Thank you.

  • @SpencerM1A1 Theremin is the name of the instrument. This electronic instrument was used in 60's pop music by the Beach Boys in a song called "Good Vibrations".

  • That was gorgeous.... Heartfelt - I love your technique cause it looks and sounds very intimate and personal - not showy. I love this very much...

  • What the hell was she playing? Sorry I'm 16 I know nothing about classical music... all I play is acoustic guitar. Haha. Whatever she was playing. It was very beautiful..

  • Very good, thanks! beautiful

  • It's pleasant to see that the mythical theremin wich was so few used in West, has found a talented musician; Yoko Onishi, to give it this dream dimension.

In the register of human voice, a Japanese singer was able to reach such level in sonic purity: the legendary Honda Minako... Thanks to Thereminy !

  • @goofywilly

It does sound a bit strange with the staccato. Not bad, just odd :D

  • legato not staccato O.o

  • @BrytaPlanka I'd say the short notes give a feeling of childlike innocence to contrast with the more sophisticated legato playing.

  • Pretty cool!
