The Jihad Of Love, Character Background; ELIZABETH

The Jihad Of Love is a story of a Female British Journalist by the name of Elizabeth Engel, age 26, Christian who goes over to Afghanistan to Document and Journalize the War. While she is over there, her and her crew are kidnapped by Terrorist Milliatants. The Militants Kill everyone in the Crew as they are all Men, and Take Elizabeth Engel as a Hostage. Among these terrorist Millitants, there is a young Pakistani Millitant, Age 22, by the name of Ahmed Quraishi. Ahmed is still open minded, open minded about the World, Curious, having Doubts about the Movement. He was kidnapped as a boy and raised up into the Movement, but he retains some innocence as he doubts their beliefs and ways. It turns out that this Young Militant Ahmed is the one to Take Care, Gaurd, Feed, Interrogate and Torture the new Hostage Elizabeth. And so obviously Elizabeth and Ahmed spend a lot of time toghether, Captive and Captor. Elizabeth is from upper class England, her Father being Wealthy, she is an aristrocrat. And So she is arrogant, confident, a Femininst in her nature. She talks back to Ahmed, Snaps back at him, backtalks and disobeys him, arguing and such. Ahmed has never ever had a Woman ever be so Not Submissive to him in his entire life as he was surrounded by Submissive, Obedient Women. He is intriuged, interested, turned on. And so Ahmed begins talking back to her, and Dialouge begins. The two go into Depth, discussing and conversing. They discuss Religion, God, War, Politics, Love, Spirituality, Comparing their religions; Islam and Christianity. Elizabeth leads the interaction, leading the eventual seduction of Ahmed, as Ahmed and Elizabeth begin falling in love with each other, through their getting to know each other, learning about each others personalities, backgrounds, and personal pain that they have dealt with in each others own lives as well as the discussion of Love itself, a new concept for Ahmed, who all his life has known only hate.
