when you talk about the break up of the beatles its sad, but i find some comfort in that some of the best beatles solo stuff came right after their break up. McCartney, All Things Must Pass, Ringos single of It Dont Come Easy and Lennons Imagine LP in 1971.

I see how Paul fell in love with Linda. She does have this very warm but regal presence. They stayed together until she died. That's really saying something as they both came from very promiscuous backgrounds.
