My problem is that I use Windows 7 and when recording gameplay, the in-game audio overpowers my voice but Windows 7 doesn't have the same "wave" slider that Windows XP did... surely there must be a way around this problem?

Can someone help me... my problem is that i dont have stereo mix someone help :(

I have a problem, the only way I can use stereo mix is to plug my headset into the mic and speaker ports on the back of the PC except theres a problem. When I try recording in stereo mix I can hear the in-game audio perfectly but my mic is very VERY low, even to the point of which my voice is non-existent, even with me changing the 'Wave' level in volume.
Anyone got a solution for this?

very helpful. Can't get mine to work tho and it should with all your tips. I've had this trouble before years ago. I have a new headset & speakers. They might be hogging the settings altho they're usb.

I'm on Windows XP and don't have some of these options. My problem is when I play some games it records my mic and ingame sounds which can be annoying because all people hear in my mic is ingame sounds.
