Mmm, true. But it is a wholly personal choice on behalf of the woman. Anyway, i don't want to get into yet another discussion on Abortion. I'm male, for starters, and while i realise that I still do have a say on the issue in some way, I'd always allow the girl/woman to choose herself, regardless of how many bible verses get shouted at me. to be more exacting to the circumstances, I think it's more moral to abort a non-conscious (spelling is scious not cious just so you know =P) fetus than to let that child be born into a home that may be incapable of sustaining them, or into a home that shouldn't sustain them. Of course this begs the question what is a good decision on abortion. We can't use raw calculative methodical measures these fail. If we aborted for disease we'd not have Stephen Hawking.

We aren't morally deficient. We have this thing that Christians think is the word of God, its actually called "Empathy". All morality flows from a sense of Empathy, which is why Sociopaths (see: Venomfangx, Yokeup) have trouble being moral and often sound vicious or vindictive. Sure, Empathy was codified in "The Golden Rule", but Jesus was NOT the first person to do this.

As for abortion, i'd say its a whole lot more immoral to take a shotgun to a doctor than kill a non-concious fetus.

Abortion is the removal of a premature non-conscious fetus. It is clear we disagree on this. However most people that I know from my generation agree with you. So by your standards our generation must be morally improved.

We don't condone slavery, child abuse is frowned upon. Rape is frowned upon, as is homicide. Yet faith healers are morally inferior, the bible condones slavery, the murder of innocent. As I listed above. Our generation as with yours is morally superior to Yahweh.

Also I don't blame this generation as a whole as our society is getting morally worse. Do you think it is a good idea to kill beautiful babies? That is what abortion is.
