On January 30, 2010, over 3000 Coptic Christians marched for 3 hrs on the coldest day of the year when the temperature was around 28 degrees below zero to unite with our brothers and sisters across the world in saying ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

+ 160 planned major attacks on the Christians since 1972

+ Over 4,000 Copts were killed or injured, millions fled for their lives and material losses in the tens of millions of dollars were suffered

+ 120 incidents took place on Fridays, after the Muslim prayer in mosques where Muslim religious leaders are preaching hate and vicious attacks in the name of religion on all non-Muslims.

+ All court cases have been dismissed due to lack of evidence except one case where a man who was convicted for murdering a monk received 3 yrs in jail

+ Coptic Christians are the indigenous peoples of Egypt and have been maintaining their traditions, rites and customs since the 1st century despite centuries of repression under Roman and Muslims rulers. They represent about 10 per cent of Egypt's 80 million people and just like Christians are on the verge of extinction from many countries in the Middle East, Egypt and the whole world continues to turn a blind eye while genocide of Christians in Egypt and other countries in the Middle East is taking place.

  • My friend, "Tar" - or revenge - in Egypt happens between families. But when 7 innocent children are massacred because of a mistake of one individual, this is not "Tar" . And it was not a coincidence that these children were shot infront of the church after finishing their prayers.

  • @nataher123

    maybe Coptics are talking about Egypt. Maybe Egypt is a different country with Muslim majority?

    When I say Muslim nation, I mean to say "religious" society; not secular. Obviously. Lack of fundamental education...because of business elites and unfair election procedure.

    Gosh, Egypt is so corrupt; no wonder there is little law or enforcement of law..

  • wow we actully made the news!

  • don't wish to segregate you separate me on purpose, try to get into your organization but you have these Military types, immigrant, naturalized Christian Canadian citizens pushing me down not giving me the opportunity not to mention females wanting to exercise their woman power all the sudden in Canada and i was born here, if tables could turn definitely would take revenge on all these people that did not allow me to enter on the most basic entry level position in these corporation or companies

  • Enough Is Enough!!!

    +++Independence For The Copts+++

    All Copts should 'Pray & Lobby' for an (INDEPENDENT COPTIC STATE) in Upper Egypt by Partitioning Egypt into North (muslim part) & South (Coptic State).

    All the Non-muslim World are Now Recommending this 'Solution' for the Copts Of Egypt.

    Please Copy & Paste this in other Threads & Blogs...Spread the Word.

    Keep up the Faith & Never Give up on the Coptic Cause.

    ++Your Coptic Nation Needs You++

  • I have personally witnessed the Muslim Police Officers in Egypt brutalize the Copts. Where are you Barak?

  • yo listen im from egypt and notings more corrupt then ppl like you who dont care. maybe if u give a half a shit about what goes on it wouldnt be that way it is they need help our countries government along the the U.S.A states that they will fight for EVERYONE in the world i dont see anything happening do we and litle inforcement of law is not the problem its racism and religous wars

  • I don't think any one is saying TAR is logic...I think they are just saying that it exists...which it has in many countries for centuries....it's a cultural phenomena, but is actually a big sin if people are educated enough about their own religion.

  • I'm sorry that people look at all Muslims to be like that, I personally have lots of Muslim friends who are very gentle and kind people. However the majority "at least of those living in Egypt" Look at the many verses in Quraan that promote killing and use it as a free pass. I personally looked at the arabic Quraan and was very confused, some verses promote peace but many more encourage killing of non-believers.

  • Sorry to tell you my friend but this was not "tar". You can consider the killing of the guy's dad and burning his house "tar" but killing kids in a different city isn't "tar". Also according to many muslim people who came on tv in egypt including Al-Sadat's brother, the girl was "used", she was known for that in the village.
