"i'd rather not listen to crappy music by a crappy dj" - same applies to the males! too many 'wanna be clue' turned turntablist motherf****** and vice versa... very few will speak about the difference between the art and the business... there's alot of these "cultural grassroots activists and promoters" too...and as you can see the scene is screwed up today with those line being blurred constantly...

You're stating the obvious but well done for saying it anyway. Hot femails get gigs cos of their looks but who's fault is that? The guys that book them. What is strange is that there are a lot of big named DJ's in the states that don't have much of an image yet they are always popular, over here in the UK your look and image as a DJ or musician is more important now than ever before.
