  • I dont really understand how u really like the original wonka even though its not as true to the book as tim burtons but u hated tim burtons batman because it wasnt true to the book but it still had kinda the same tone.

  • @diildude Because Tim Burton's ISN'T in the same tone as the original comics. Joker is a baffoon and Batman is a homicidal antisocial maniac.

  • You know, I really liked this video very much! I totally agree with what you are saying: even if the script of the new one is closer to the book, the spirit & charm of the old one makes it closer to the book! That, & I do agree that Gene Wilder is the superior Wonka (to me, he stole the show!)

However, there are a couple things. For one, they're squirrels, not rats. Also, I feel that both Wonkas were the right age.

Great job for making this video! I give you a strong pat on the back!

  • @DanielLaux429 Nether were the right age. Wonka is supposed ot be an old man.

  • Will you ever The Wizard of Oz. I would really like to hear your thoughts consedering the movie is quite different from the book.

  • I like both. I also like Return to Oz and Tin Man.

How do you cross something with itself?

  • i just love how the top comment is always some hater who thinks trolling is funny! your a cool reviewer dont let stupid haters get ya down

  • Okay, when I saw the title of this, I thought you had made a video of Willy Wonka duking it out with Charlie or something! LOL!

  • @blowshimselfupdude well I think its good as its own but not as an adaptation.

  • @schlumbl84 i agree 110% !!!

  • @ElizaaOzx High budgets don't make good movies. Every true fan of movies knows at least a dozen movies with low budget that were waaay more impressive and fun to watch than today's high budget mainstream crap. The good old movies had something magical. Most of today's movies are full of glitter-cgi-terror-effects, they have no story, no heart, no passion. I'm a filmfan as long as I can think and it makes me sad that people fall for hollywood's cheap and brainless methods of 'entertaining' them.

  • Watching Burton's version is like watching the old version on LSD. I still love the old version. I grew up with it. The new one is kinda strange because it has too much of Burton's style in it - it has too much of EVERYTHING. It's okay for someone who likes to watch a strange movie but the original will always be my favourite.

  • The reason why the original was not like the book was because during the time of the filming "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" was because Quaker Oats was coming out with a new candy bar and the movie was suppose to promote the candy bar.
