I completed this some many times even back when I was a kid.... for me it's the best speccy game ever. the more you complete it the harder are the keys/pieces of key placements on each successive game. I even have an accurate map of it somewhere detailing everything... :)

runs at 6mhz using the snapper discs from the velesoft site in sim coupe with external ram 1-4mb with masterdos needs reset then option two after masterdos boot

Nothing, it just switches to the complimentary colour to the room's wall colour to make the screen look nicer. Cyan walls: Red scroll and vice versa

This reminds me of Wizard's Lair on the Amstrad 6128. The graphics and gameplay are very similar.
