It's not from the movie but it's not real either. We made it as part of the viral marketing campaign for Terminator Salvation. It was a LOT of fun being able to participate in (and in a tiny, not-quite-canonical way, become part of) the Terminator universe!

It's not an either/or situation, and nobody needs to be exterminated. The third option is transhumanism, where technology is used to improve humans themselves. The line between human and machine blurs to the point of meaninglessness and we, in effect, become our own replacements. There are people working on this for real, today.
