Glenn Beck interviews Randy Barnett, professor at Georgetown law and author of "Restoring the Lost Constitution". Barnett argues that it's not likely that Montana and the other states involved in the intrastate gun legislation are going to have a winning argument if/when it goes to the Supreme Court.

  • You're right. The stakes are really high! The other side gets a pass no matter how many unarmed people are killed in crimes... yet a person who already broke a lot of laws uses a gun, and it paints a huge mark against all the law abiding owners who don't break laws. Unfair to say the least.

  • Knives are 3 times more used in Britain for murder than guns. What are they going to do know? Ban knifes too. Is every person regulated to a plastic knife & fork? If America bans guns, will we ban knifes next? Look at the UK, a gun ban society. They're experiencing record high knife murders daily.

  • @Shelbzism Notice how the comments by you Leftists are always so much less intelligent and so ill-informed compared to those by conservatives. Your comment here shows the intolerance and tendency towards hatred and violence that so typify "Progressives" and other Marxists.

I too cringe when Beck talks religion, but he has done a great service in exposing the vast Leftwing conspiracy to turn our country from freedom & prosperity to Communism.

We must restore the Republic and its Constitution!

  • My opinion of guns would improve if Beck got shot.

  • lock and load boys those fuckin communists are comin

  • You don't need a Constitutional Amendment to overturn a Supreme Court decision. A simple majority in both Houses of Congress can remove the Court's jurisdiction. It is a lot easier to get a majority in both Houses than to amend the Constitution. See Article III, Sections 1 & 2.

  • Your wrong, Professor Barnett is a great scholar. Read his book "Restoring The Lost Constitution."

  • This 'law expert' is making too much out of nothing.

He's just speaking nonsense, and planting doubt in the minds of people.

  • close down every ATF field office in

    Montana....

Montana, just make your law, and back it

    up with county jurisdictions.

  • Yea good analogy also with the Civil War, and now also with the Racism. Just as with the Civil War we are taught that it was the Fed abolishing slavery that started it.(Which is only a small piece of a much broader picture) We are now being force fed this lie that its "racists" or "racism" that leads these Gov protests. Well this has been going on for years, and heated up during Bush. So yes both parties are to blame. Thats why im an Independent i don't trust any of them.

  • That's what those Southern patriots fought and died for, friend. Sadly, with the triumph of Lincoln's despotic government, there is nothing left of our country. If the remaining Southerners and inter-mountain Westerners could just unite against the Feds, maybe we could be free again. Instead we're fed a bunch of racism-is-the-problem bull$hit while slowly being deprived of all rights. BOTH PARTIES ARE TO BLAME! I just changed to a third party. Let the fight begin.
