Sunny Gavaskar, who along with Viv Richards, was probably the best batsman against genuine pace regarded Andy Roberts as the best bowler he has ever faced. That is a great compliment from a batsman who had faced Holding, Garner, Marshall, Lillee, Thomson, Imran, Botham, Hadlee and Kapil.

@sweetnothing1977 Its actually DEAD QUIET! Not a single threat or anything, all the abuse centred around how badly Australia were going to be raped in this series, i guess all the dickhead abusers are sitting at home crying their asses off and hurting animals.

Not for nothing, whenever one makes a list of great West Indian fast bowlers, Andy Roberts' name is always taken first. And then Holding, Garner, Marshall. Andy was the Big Daddy of them all. Pity he had such a short career (1974-83).
