Joe if you ever watch this, I want to let you know that you will always be my most favorite player of all time for any sport. Thanks for leading the Avs, I have watched you play since I can remember (5 years old I believe)

What a guy what a player. Mr Sakic is Hall of Fame bound for sure. He is the Colorado Avalanche. Good luck in the rest of your life Mr no19. You will never be forgotten.

@paulwall1981 Oh he won't, there have been rumors going around he might be working for the Avalache sometime (like in the office or something) I still remember getting his autograph at a baseball game (colorado had this charity game where the Rockies, Avalanche, Broncos, and I think Rapids split into 2 teams to play baseball)

@paulwall1981 yeah did it for free...It was on a glass surface of a playing card disaply with an exngraved plach i got for like $10 from my first Avs game. I actually gave it to my mother to hold onto to keep safe, i should really get that back and put it in a case
