I remember going to the Denver Art Museum and seeing his painting "Estes Park"...literally took my breath away. And I wasn't the only one - it was getting more attention than any painting in the room. It was a very large painting, easy to see all the tiny details, colors, and his mastery of light.

I remember seeing his paintings in New York and my breath being taken away by the scale, detail and colours.
