@2joe2j why do you think we got Mancini in charge then?? The Inter team that Mancini won the Serie A with weren't as good as City's current team now. Mancini can get any team to do well. I agree that to a certain extent it's not just about money and that's why we have appointed good coaching staff and a superb manager. Our financial backing will help us along the way a great deal too, the club is ran brilliantly and always will be.

There is no shortcut to achieving greatness in football, at the end of the day you have to put in a lot of work to achieve results, just throwing loads of money wont do the job, there's nothing much more city can do, they can't add players to thier squad or it will be ruined, they haven't been amazing this season, only a few points ahead in the league.

@GalaxyCatchupTV to be honest 95% of city's starting 11 has been bought after 2009, the longest serving member at the club is richards who joined in 2005 compared to other teams such as liverpool, chelsea, united who still have players from the 90's. it hasn't been "gradually built" there has been tens of millions spent every year since 2007/08. I don't think city will be dominating football in a few years time, it will take much longer and even then will only be short term.
