Johnny! Jane! The Last Time I Felt Like This - Live!

quite simply, two of the best singers ever to stand before a microphone, and two of the best matched vocalists to duet together.....(One can still hope for a duet album between these two.)

i pulled the audio off of the bad copy I had, reworked it, synched it, and did some work on the video -- hope you enjoy.....this was the first Oscars where all of the original performers performed the nominated song from their respective films (Boone, Summer, Manilow, ONJ, Mathis-Olivor). Gorgeous arrangement here too, with those real strings.

(by the way, Jane's intended dress had somehow disappeared that night (did Olivia Newton John, Debby Boone, or Donna Summer (Last Dance won the Oscar) hide it? or maybe it was Barry Manilow1).....so she's not supposed to be wearing that white dress, but look at those sparkling eyes of hers -- hello, gorgeous!....(and that set -- if you can stand and sing so well with all of that up and down and the musicians twirling and not throw up, you are truly a pro.....)

Harmony Heaven. These 2 are made to sing together. Jane's debut album was a gem. And Johnny is so talented and elegant.

Johnny Mathis the greatest singer ever in this lifetime, kissed me once too...on the cheek only because I turned my head thinking it would be too forward as it was my first meet with him.(boy was I naive then)..it was one of the top 10 moments of my life.. What a singer..they both are but Johnny is my idol of all time.. Bless you Johnny. And thank you for sharing this video with us.

@35777 maybe johnny and jane got emotionally touched while they were on duet. because the song was so full of romantic verses yet its so simple. They both sing with their hearts inside that express emotion. yes, it could be, jane was so lucky on that moment. it is obvious and it could be seen on their faces that they were both overwhelmed to the song they are singing. and that's it, they don't mind what the audiences witnessed as they simply kissed without hesitation.
