  • Anything absorbed per rectum, will take effect just as quickly if not faster than

fluids PO or IV!! The Brits use Per rectal hydration, it does in fact work!!!!!

    Hooya!!

  • @jedifrog7 Does it work? Yes. But it should be understood, this is a LAST resort and you cannot dump large quantities of fluid into somebody cavalierly. The standard for proctoclysis (rectal rehydration) is 100-200 ml/hr. IV fluid is the gold standard, but the fluids must be sterile. Proctoclysis gets over this hurdle in that the fluids do not have to be sterile, but it REALLY is smarter that way.

  • My wife will be in big trouble when SHTF. She's addicted to redbull and that's one thing we don't have a large supply of! Guns. Check. Bullets. Check. Food (to include seeds for growing food) Check. Bug out gear Food, water, water purification, shelter, fire building materials, guns, bullets, metal cash (won't be worth anything but I can make more bullets out of it!) packed and ready to go. Check. Anything I'm missing?

  • Agree with almost all of this except the part about people not having three days worth of food. I prep despite my wife's assertion that I am nuts. I have (by estimation) enough food here to keep us happy for up to six months. I also farm and have livestock and fishing ponds stocked with catfish and bluegills. I cant say that I know anyone who's pantry is so bare they could not survive for three days. Maybe that is a big city issue and not rural or suburban.

  • For first aid wound treatment feminine hygine products are ideal for pressure dressings. Guys it is not about manly this or that, it is about life or death.

  • First rule stay away from the citys

  • beanbag chair, bongs, and blunts

  • Patriot Nurse lookin' foxy. Gotta love a strong, self-reliant female.

  • Beans, bullets, bandaids, and beer? Just wondering.....

  • hopefully i run into the guy that wants to trade a gun for food. i have an assault from 21 years ago and cant afford to have it expunged. once i have a years worth of food ill save to have it expunged but with the current gun laws i imagine lots are in a similar situation.

  • With the ridicules expense of medications and Insurance companies keeping track of every pill people take, how do you propose people getting a stock of mediations? I hear a lot of saying (including FEMA) you need to have a stock of medications but no help on how to achieve it.

  • beans, bullets, band-aids, beef jerky, babes, beer
