  • Saw Nat at a concert in Kaplan Louisiana in the '70s. He had come out with "Sweet Thang". Those were the good old days when country music was so good.

  • I'm from Shreveport, La. I knew Nat well. He came out with Sweet Thang in 1966 on Paula lable. He was a great guy, and should have made it bigger than what he did.

  • Was this recorded at one of the Wembley Festivals in London

  • Yes it was a London concert.

  • @MrMiamiboy48 Hello! Thanks for your hint! I've been searching since I heard it on the radio in 1972 . and Merle Haggard sung it too, as you told me. But it wasn' the one I was looking for. But on one youtube page I found, that Roy Buchanan did it also. And then I found it! The ULTIMATE version of a "Lonesome Fugitive". And then I bought the CD on ebay. Imagin, after 40 years, I finally found it!! Thanks to you!!! Greetings from Germany

  • Country supreme!

  • He should haqve been a bigger star a great voice

  • @lesternaz Yeah but that dosent matter cause us true fans of Real country music knows how great Nat are.

  • @MrMiamiboy48 yes, thats the song I was looking for! But it sounded different, may be it was a cover or a remake. It was on the radio in 1972. But still Thank you so much!!! Helped me a great deal.

  • @firstvoodoochild merle haggard did branded man and the the fugitive .

  • I love this kind of music!! May be someone can help me on this: I'm searching for a song called something like " a fugitive must be a rolling stone" don't know if he sung it, may be someone knows. Thanks.

  • I honestly didn't think anyone remembered Nat. My parents were good friends of his. I met him a few times at Panther Hall in Ft. Worth. He was a great man and had a beautiful voice.
