Taylors are good but Gibson's have hair on their balls which make them the master. What a wonderful world it would be if we could all afford a Dove? Gibson's rock.

Maybe if you believe that someone's skill determines what guitar they can play.... But that would make you sound like an elitist asshole wouldn't it?

The gibson dove looks a lot bigger than the epiphone?

@birmingham77 Gibson imo make pretty averege acoustic guitars, theyre pretty to look and have history and the gibson name which is why theyre so damned expensive, where as Taylor make some mind bogglingly great acoustic guitars at half the price of a gibson. Id pick (no pun intended) a Taylor.

I played a Gibson Dove the other day and it sounds a lot like the Hummingbird but has a little more of a bass kind of feel to it, while the Hummingbird kind of floats with the high e string.

@kennethgodden A monarch is the only Gibson I would currently pick over a nice Taylor or Martin. Of course at around sixteen grand for a USED one that is too much for me, I am getting a Martin OMCPA1 in about a week and three grand is about the extent of my price range, hahaha

The guitar looks beautiful and stunning. If I'm correct that has maple back and sides, sue me if I'm wrong. The guitar was too bright (sound wise) for the camera, and a little bit too much for me. I think I like a more warmer sound instead.
